The Wonders of Nature

Thoughts behind work

My work is an interpretation of nature’s beauty. My making process starts with a walk, and from this anything which captures my imagination I draw and consider. These drawings are directly translated into metal using the technique of ‘chasing and repousse’. This allows me to create every detail desired and produce a wonderland of nature in a unique piece of silverware or jewellery. I hope to capture the feeling of being in nature and the outdoors and so bring the outdoors in.
